Nouveau réalisme was a French art movement in the 1960s that can be regarded as a European counterpart to pop art.
Nouveau réalisme is an artistic movement established in 1960 by art critic Pierre Restany and painter Yves Klein during their first collective exhibition at the Apollinaire gallery in Milan.
Contemporary with American pop art and frequently viewed as its French counterpart, Nouveau réalisme, along with movements like Fluxus, was one of the many avant-garde tendencies of the 1960s. The group initially established its base in Nice, on the French Riviera, given that both Yves Klein and Arman had roots there. Consequently, historians often retrospectively consider Nouveau réalisme as an early precursor to the École de Nice movement.

Each edition comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity (COA) signed by the artist. Additionally every edition will be signed, marked, or numbered on the edition itself.
Works on paper and some originals don't come with a COA.
